About the Author

Sarah published her first essay in Rider Magazine in 1987. Almost twenty years later, she got busy writing science fiction. She attended Clarion Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers’ Workshop in 2006.

anne_wardaugh_early.JPGSarah lives in Flagstaff, Arizona. She received both her BS and MS in Geology from Northern Arizona University. She’s worked as a geologist and environmental scientist in national forests, oil fields, a landfill and most recently for the Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals.

My current project, “Clouds in Code” is a near-future novel in which climate modelers at the National Center for Atmospheric Research struggle to warn of atmospheric forces that may change the world within a human life-time.  Can the pace of their science keep up, or will a more radical human element change the basis of their predictions long before they’re proven true?

I’m not a blogger, but I’ll be keeping this website updated with my published fiction and appearances.
